Contract to permanent opportunity in New Hope for Controls Engineer-Automated Equipment.

Preparation of electrical schematics in AutoCAD Electrical.
Preparation of electrical panel layouts and creation of electrical parts list for custom and standard products as assigned in SolidWorks.
PLC programming of equipment. May include design and documentation of PLC programs.
Operator interface programming as required.
Communications to internal staff, customers, and vendors.
Follow up service of machinery at customer locations for installation assistance and/or customer training. Also, responding to requests for phone, email, or online services. [may require domestic or international travel]
Assist with wiring, cable routing, marking, and inspection of machinery in assembly department.
Commissioning of electrical components and machine function during assembly portion of assigned projects.
Maintain professional customer relations and help to insure customer satisfaction of product as a whole.
Prepares reports as required by management. (Must be proficient with basic Microsoft Office software.)
Assists in preparation of technical machinery information including operations manuals, electrical specification, field service reports, etc.
Analyzes and resolves technical electrical problems or assists workers in solving technical electrical problems.
Instructs electrical assembly in wiring issues and panel layout.
Works on CE and UL certification as required.
Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school with 5-7 years related experience or Bachelor of Science in Engineering with 3-5 years related experience.
Musyt have experience with automated equipment; web handling experience is highly desired.
PLC programming experience with Allen Bradley; MicroLogix and CompacLogix.
Experience with HMI Allen Bradley PanelView, VFD sizing and configuration, stepper drives and servo programming preferably with Kinetix 300/350/5500.
Must be proficient with AutoCad Electrical and SolidWorks.
