As Hollywood celebrates the best pictures of the year, I am reminded of movies that are destined for A DIFFERENT Variety OF Acknowledgement- gee, INFAMY- need evidence?

Is this incorrect?

Is Raquel Welch’s portrayal of a” sexy” nun justified in any way? What? You recall a Spielberg movie not mentioning this? A masterpiece by Kubrick? Effectively, it raises an important topic:

Yes,” Raider Of The Lost Ark” and” 2001: A Space Odyssey” didn’t come with a celebratory spit backpack, but this video did! Okay, the film did include this field: Enough with the masterpieces, time to enjoy the “other” renowned movies! Think a video that is SO SHOCKING, SO UNSETTLING that the filmmakers gave you a puke backpack for your own shelter.

” Hold Your Tongue, Europe”!

Yes, kudos to our associates”across the pond,” American spectators were treated to some of the most outrageous and surprising movies ever made in the earlier 1970s.

Time to transport you up to a day when European films were more “adult” and “open,” leading to the release of this ground-breaking film:

When” I Am Curious ( Yellow )” beat US obscenity charges, the floodgates were open for a new era in movies- films that were much more explicit and controversial. Look at the message on the banner:

The reason so many of these dirty oppression movie showed up in United venues was that US productions were behind the instances, not prepared for the novel”relaxed” requirements for movies…. Thus, the nation was flooded with some of the biggest films that Europe had to offer, a picture company known as:

“Euro-Sleaze!”

What does that actually mean? Well, you take lots of sex, crime and depravity and wrap it up in a video with a sticker column like this:

Yes, it’s as delicate as a smack in the face, but that’s the point because these movies Enjoy being outrageously interesting, and as you can see, it was a part of their marketing strategy.

If you aren’t familiar with” Mark Of The Devil,” you have missed out on a “euro-sleaze” classic! It was known for its scenes of torture, which was the precursor to the modern era of” torture porn” as it told the story of european witch hunts in the 1600s.

” Rated V For Violence”!

The movie” Mark Of The Devil” advertised itself as the first to be “rated V for assault”! There was no such thing, but hey, what a wonderful badge range, huh? it was a time of “anything goes” in movies … This was shortly after a new ratings system was enacted to try and guide viewers …

In truth, the film was a typical German dread picture, reflecting on the monster investigations that terrorized Europe. There was a lot of intercourse, porn, heart, and rape, which was the principal focus of the movie’s development…

That’s appropriate, extremely clever producers released the drama with a “vomit bag”- a great way to advertise the film! And it succeeded because it was a huge “eurosleaze” success!
